I'm not sure if I'm eligible to take an Ohio defensive driving course. How do I find out?

To receive a 2-point credit on your driving record, you must meet these eligibility requirements:

  • You may only have 2-11 points on your driver's license
  • You may NOT have taken a course within the last 3 years
  • You may only reduce points 5 times within your lifetime
